The US Department of Energy and the National Renewal Energy Lab analyzed hospital energy consumption.  The top 3 functions using electricity for hospitals are: lighting (42%), cooling (14%) and ventilation/air handling (16%).  If you add computers at 4%, the total is 76%!  Consider adding large medical equipment and you easily get to 80%.   Heating oil and natural gas usage is simple- 56% is heating air and 30% is heating water for a total of 86%.
